In this C key sleeve 5 mounted on the tubular body of a flute, in which a solid plate 3 for the C note installed in the tubular body, is connected to a rod and to a C key lever 4, the sleeve being connected to this lever by means of a linkage member 7 by inserting the front threaded part 11 of a rod 10 carrying the sleeve into a tapped hole 9 in the linkage member, an extended continuous tapped part L is made in the front end of a hole 8 in the linkage member 7, and an auxiliary threaded pin 12 is inserted onto this tapped part L so as to be fixed to the linkage member 7, the threaded front part 11 of the rod 10 being inserted by screwing into the side of the hole 9 which is opposite with respect to the pin. Application in particular to flutes, in which the C key sleeve can be readjusted in the event of wear. <IMAGE>
