<p>PURPOSE:To improve the lubricity and feeling in writing, to prevent the oozing of ink and to make written lines clear by compounding a water-base ballpoint ink contg. a water-sol. dye with cholic acid (salt) and a fatty acid (salt). CONSTITUTION:Cholic acid (salt) and a fatty acid (salt) are compounded with a water-base ink compsn. contg. a water-sol. dye (e.g. edible red No.102) and necessary additives such as a water-sol. solvent (e.g. ethylene glycol), antispectic, pH controlling agent, etc., to give a water-base ballpoint ink. Cholic acid, a compd. of the formula, is compounded pref. in an amt. of 0.1-5wt.% based on the resulting ink. Pref. examples of said fatty acid are sodium oleate, sodium ricinolate, etc., of which pref. amt is 0.1-2wt.% based on said ink.</p> |
