发明名称 CONTROLLING METHOD FOR GASEOUS ATMOSPHERE IN CARBURIZING FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the fluctuating range of the concn. of carbon and to make the content of surface carbon of carburized products coincident with target values by averaging the temp. in a furnace in a unit time every hour with lapse of time and controlling the concn. of carbon in the furnace while inputting the outputs thereof into an arithmetic device. CONSTITUTION:An averaging device 10 which averages the hourly temp. fluctuations in a unit time t2 at every certain time t1 and outputs the results is provided between a thermocouple 3 and an arithmetic device 4 that receives the output thereof. Said device 10 processes the temp. to obtain their moving average values with lapse of time. The moving average values are obtained by taking the average value in the unit time t2 successively at every certain time t1. When there are fluctuations in the temp. in a furnace, and if the time t2 is taken at the period of said fluctuations, the averaged temp. is roughly equal to the average temp. thereof. The concn. of carbon in the gaseous atmosphere is controlled to small fluctuations by inputting the averaged temp. to the device 4.
