PURPOSE:To discriminate a signal optimizingly, in response to transmission characteristics, by adaptably changing a discrimination function, and changing a discriminating line. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal inputted from an input terminal 100 is converted into a digital signal at an A/D converter 101 and the output is inputted to an L-stage shift register (SR) 102. The output pattern of the SR102 is inputted to an address generator 103 corresponding to a reception signal of L- sample. The address generator 103 outputs the output pattern of the SR102 at first and designates an address of N-set of storage circuits 104. The storage circuit 104 acts like a discriminating function and selects a storage circuit having a maximum output at a detector 105. The address generator 103 outputs the bit pattern near the output pattern of the SR102, performs the specified operation at an operation circuit 107 in synchronizing with the output and revises the content of the storage circuit having the maximum output. A control circuit 108 controls each circuit. |
