PURPOSE:To output the character of high quality by instructing a special point to be controlled in the curved line part of an outline character out of the special points, where the character is widely distorted when the character is enlarged and reduced, by a developer and automatically controlling the coordinates of the special point to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:A character pattern data part 3 is provided to store a control object designation part, to which the developer designates the number of the special point to be controlled, and respective bending point data in advance. A character code and a character size are inputted by an input part 1 and the control object designation part is retrieved out of the character pattern data part 3. Then, the control special point number and bending point data of the character code are sent to a bending point arithmetic part 2. The bending point arithmetic part 2 computes the coordinates of the control special point and of a bending point not to be controlled by respectively different computation expressions in correspondence to the rate of enlargement and reduction and executes the control of the special point for the outline character. Then, the character of the high quality can be outputted. |
