PURPOSE:To promptly and easily investigate the cause of defective logical operation of a processor to be checked by executing the same test program by means of both processor to be checked and checking processor, and comparatively verifying the respective history data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU to be checked 101 and a checking CPU 102 execute the same logical operation based on a test program 103. A service processor 104 stores history data A from the CPU to be checked 101 and history data B from the checking CPU 102 respectively to memories 107 and 108. A comparatively verifying circuit 109 reads and compares the history data A and B of the history data storing memories 107 and 108, displays a coincidence when there is no difference, and displays a different point when there is some difference on a main console 20. Thus the operation of the processor to be checked can be confirmed and a defective part can be investigated easily and at high speed. |
