METHOD FOR PREPARING FLUORINATED NANODIAMOND LIQUID DISPERSION

Disclosed is a method for preparing a fluorinated nanodiamond liquid dispersion which is stable over a long period of time of not less than 120 hours, while having a viscosity at 20°C of not less than 3cP. The fluorinated nanodiamond liquid dispersion is usable as a polishing material, lubricant, heat exchange fluid medium and the like. Specifically, this fluorinated nanodiamond liquid dispersion is prepared as follows: a suspension is prepared by mixing a fluorinated nanodiamond with a first liquid having a viscosity at 20°C of not more than 2.5cP; then a classified suspension is prepared by classifying the suspension; and then the classified suspension is mixed with a second liquid having a viscosity at 20°C of not less than 4cP.
