PURPOSE:To provide a neutralizing agent for neutralizing bacterial exterotoxin produced by Vibrio cholerae, poisonous Escherichia coli, Salmonella, etc., at a low cost by containing a specific sialic acid-bonded peptide or sialic acid- containing oligo saccharide as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The objective neutralizing agent contains as an active ingredient either of a sialic acid-bonded peptide (preferably k-casein glycomacropeptide) prepared by treating milk-originated sialic acid-bonded protein (preferably lactoferrin or k-casein), a sialic acid-bonded peptide (preferably k-casein glycomacropeptide) prepared by treating the sialic acid-bonded protein with a protease or a sialic acid-containing oligosaccharide.
