<p>A slidable roof control device for a motor vehicle (1) wherein a roof panel opening (2a) of a motor vehicle (1), being covered with a slidable roof (3), can be opened both from the forward and the rearward direction of the vehicle body. The control device includes a first ON/OFF command mechanism (71,72) on the driver seat for commanding a drive mechanism to open or close the flexible member (3), a second ON/OFF command mechanism (76) on the rear seat for commanding the drive mechanism to open or close the flexible member, and a control mechanism (73), responsive to the output from the first and the second ON/OFF command mechanism, for controlling the activation of the drive mechanism as well as restricting the closing motion of the slidable roof (3) in the rear seat at least by the first ON/OFF command mechanism (72).</p> |
