The axle suspension system for a motor vehicle comprises a subframe height adjustably supported relative to the main structure by symmetrical support groups both sides of the transverse axial plane normal to the vehicle length. The wheels are hinged to the subframe via independent guide elements. The subframe (1) should be supported for arbitrary height adjustment at least one side of the transverse axial plane (12), pref. by a height adjustable element (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Motor vehicles. Axle suspension design eliminates the negative effect of subframe swivel movement during starting and braking by arbirary height adjustment.
