- System for ventilation of an aircraft (1), the interior of which is subdivided into a plurality of compartments (3 to 8, 12 to 16) arranged on both sides of a longitudinal floor (9), said system comprising means (17) for supplying new air, means (18, 19) for extracting stagnant air and means (40) for circulating air in the interior of said aircraft, comprising fans for blowing and sucking air, associated with a network of blowing and sucking ducts, communications (22, 30, 34, 38) being provided between at least certain of said compartments which are adjacent. - According to the invention, the system is characterised in that said means for circulating air are constituted by a blowing and ventilation assembly (40) comprising a blowing fan (41) and a sucking fan (42) which are mounted on a common shaft (43) and driven by a common electric motor (44). <IMAGE>
