The invention relates to a bunker, preferably an underground bunker (roadway bunker), with a feed conveyor (6) arranged above the bunker space (5), a discharge conveyor (9) arranged at the bottom bunker outlet (11), and a distributing and clearing conveyor (12) which delivers the storage material supplied by the feed conveyor (6) into the bunker space (5) and withdraws it from the bunker space (5) during the unloading. According to the invention, the delivery point (7) of the top feed conveyor (6) is arranged in the top area of a drop shaft (8), in the bottom area of which the withdrawal point (11) with the discharge conveyor (9) is located. In this arrangement, a cover consisting of a slide (24) of the like is provided, with which the drop shaft (8) can be closed in its cross-section so that the bulk material delivered by the feed conveyor (6) can be received by the scraper conveyor (12) and transferred into the bunker space (5). When the slide (24) is opened, the bulk material delivered by the feed conveyor (6) falls directly in the drop shaft (8) down onto the discharge conveyor (9).
