A description is given of a motorcycle (1) with a seat (bench (saddle) 3) to which there is connected a rear part (6) which can be displaced counter to the forwards direction of travel on a supporting tube (10) fixed on the frame. The rear part bears a wheel cover (7) for a rear wheel (2) of the motorcycle (1). By displacing the rear part (6) the rear wheel (2) can be removed in a simple manner in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Situated within the rear part (6) is a subchamber (5) which together with a subchamber (4) within the seat (bench 3) forms, by virtue of the displaceability of the rear part (6), a readily accessible storage space. The fact that the seat (bench 3) is in fixed connection with the supporting tube (4) fixed on the frame results in a low seat height at least for the front region of the seat (seat part 3a). <IMAGE>
