The device has an artificial palate (3), which has lingual electrodes (2) and an electrode (10) placed on a side of the palate plated against palate of a user. The latter electrode receives an electro-stimulation signal, which is read by the palate of the user. The electrode is arranged to be in permanent contact with the palate of the user when the device is in place. The electrode is mounted on a spring or on a spring blade.
