<p>An improvement to the process for the production of interferon by adding an inducer to lymphoblastoid cells susceptible to being induced to produce interferon is described wherein the cells are treated with an enhancing agent at, or following, induction. In a preferred aspect the cells are also pretreated, before induction, with a stimulator.</p> |
