The room-dividing wall according to the invention comprises wall elements (10) which can be set up in rectilinear alignment or at an angle with respect to one another and can be connected to one another. The wall elements exhibit a load-bearing frame (19, 22, 21) consisting of wood and a filling (24) consisting of an insulating material and, if appropriate, a vertically arranged reinforcement panel (23) consisting of gypsum plasterboard. The wall elements are clad by hard-fibre panels in (25) and are reinforced on the ceiling side by a continuous hat profile (42).
