A polyarylene sulfide resin composition obtainable by mixing (A) 99 to 60 parts by weight of a polyarylene sulfide resin, (B) 1 to 40 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane rubber, (C) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the total weight of the components (A) and (B), of an organosilane compound having an isocyanate group, and (D) 0 to 300 wt.%, based on the total weight of the components (A), (B) and (C), of a filler, and then reacting these components. The polyarylene sulfide resin composition of the present invention has excellent impact resistance and is used in electrical and electronic parts such as surface mounting connectors requiring heat resistance and toughness, as well as in mechanical parts, etc.
