This mechanism comprises an impulsion element provided with an endless screw with a reverse double thread, combined with interlinked displaceable small sleeves with the top part of the actual sleeves hanging down, which, in its zone of joining to the corresponding overpressure box of the cleaning device, have extendible intermediate portions or elbows of bellows type which make it possible, in step with the advance and retreat of the aforesaid small sleeves, to produce parallel coming- together or separation of the sleeves, in the first case for their circulation along a machine without lateral obstacles and in the second for avoiding such obstacles previously detected by the actual device by means of a suitable system. <IMAGE>
