Stroke-limiting thrust bearing having progressive stiffness characteristics and made from a compact elastomeric composition, characterised in that it comprises three elements (8) (8') (8"), which are bodies of revolution, are superposed and connected by a thin wall forming a continuous hinge (9), on their small diameter, on the one hand, to one another and, on the other hand, either to a fastening flange (7) or to a ring (6) carrying studs (5), and in that it is made self-stabilising under compression by a circular edge (14) coming into contact with the wall of the opposite element.
