Apparatus for stereotaxic surgery of the brain. The means for attachment 11, 12 of the bridge 10 to the columns 7, 8 comprise a pair of bridles 17, 18, each of which encircles the corresponding socket 21, 22, integral in an adjustable manner in each column 7, 8, by means of a split cone 23, which allows the bridge 10 to swing around the columns 7, 8. The arch 16, 10 and the sockets 21, 22 define two spherical coordinates. The supports 30, 31, 32, 33 comprise a plurality of threaded orifices 34, 35, 36 located at different heights for the placement of the stud bolts 37, 38, 39, 40 and of an eye 42 for radial displacement. The means for attachment 9 of the columns 7, 8 to the frame 1 comprise a die 43, 44 having a threaded through bolt 45, 46 and two lateral pins, 47, 48 and 49, 50, which are accommodated in the column, 7, 8, located in a position lower than the frame 1. <IMAGE>
