A reverse voltage prevention apparatus of a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) circuit is provided to reduce cost in comparison of a reverse voltage prevention diode and reduce a temperature rise due to heat generation by using a field effect transistor. A reverse voltage prevention apparatus of a PWM circuit includes a reverse voltage preventing unit and a leakage current preventing unit(220). One side of the reverse voltage preventing unit is connected to a charge pump and a ground, and an output stage of a freewheel diode, and the other side thereof is connected to a battery through the freewheel diode and a node. The reverse voltage preventing unit maintains a freewheel function by receiving a high signal from a cp stage(c.p) and an output stage(out1) of the charge pump in case of normal voltage of the battery and blocks reverse voltage from being applied to the freewheel diode and a DC link electrolytic capacitor by using current applied from the ground in case of reverse voltage of the battery.
