The revolving latch consists of a latch arm (1) connected with a carrying body (3) of the latch (3) through a flat joint (2). One end of the revolving spring (4), the other end of which is in contact with the latch arm (1), is attached to the carrying body (3). The problem dealt with here is an improvement of the revolving latch in a direction towards greater reliability in respect of the function and the option of its use also for conveyors with a closed pathway profile. This is achieved by the carrying body (3) of the latch being connected with the basic frame (8) of the latch through an additional flat joint (7), concurrently equipped with a controlling lug (9) of the position of the electric sensor (10). The part between both flat joints (2,7) is provided with a stop lug (11) on which a side contact surface (12) for a corner part of the latch arm (1), the back contact surface (13) for the basic frame (8) and a face contact surface(14) for the pressure pin (15) is axially spring-loaded against the basic frame (8).<IMAGE>
