<p>Multisectional lifting piston for internal-combustion engines A multisectional lifting piston for internal-combustion engines is described, in particular those with which the translatory movement of two opposing, synchronous pistons is converted into rotational movement by a slider crank drive, with a piston rod rigidly connected to the two pistons. This piston includes a piston skirt (1) made of ceramic material with piston skirt head (2), a piston head (3) produced from ceramic material with fire land (4), provided with an annular groove (6) for receiving a slotted piston ring (7) made of ceramic material, the piston head (3) being seated correspondingly on the piston skirt head (2) and both main piston parts (1,2 and 3,4 ) being radially fixed by a common centering sleeve (5), likewise of ceramic material, further includes a centering piece (8) fixed on the piston rod (12) with snug fit (14) and produced from metal or a metal alloy, in particular an aluminum alloy, with base plate (9), on which the piston skirt head (2) is seated, and includes an end cover (10) produced from the same material as the centering piece (8) with base plate (9) seated on the piston head (3) and extending radially up to its fire land (4), with centering hub (11) which is radially fixed relative to the centering piece (8), with an axial distance gap (23) between the two parts (8 and 11), the piston skirt head (2) and the piston head (3) being axially clamped together between the end cover (10) and the base plate (9) by a screw connection (13) assigned to the piston rod (12).</p> |
