<p>"IMPROVED EXHAUST SILENCER FOR HIGH-POWER GAS TURBINES" Exhaust silencer for high-power gas turbines, the outer case of which, made from steel plate formed into a Greek fret pattern, and the inner soundproofing panels of which are coated with standardized insulating-sound-proofing compound bricks, of square shape, kept in their position by insulated fastening hollow pins acting in corrispondence of the beveled corners of said bricks. Each compound brick is constituted by a front brick, made from an annealed stainless steel plate, beveled at its corners, perforated in its central area only, and bent in correspondence of its edges, by pressing, to a shape, inside which an also standardized pad is inserted, to act as an insulator-soundproofer made from very-high-quality materials suitable for high-temperature use, and by a second, rear brick, of thickness approximately twice as long as the thickness of the first brick, made from low-thickness plate of hardened stainless steel, bent to form a square frame with beveled corners, and with substantially -shape, with the upper edges being so divergent that they can be elastically bent on assemblage, inside which a pad is contained, which is made from materials suitable for medium temperatures, and hence of lower value.</p> |
