PURPOSE:To make it possible to display the amount of the remaining liquid in the container such as a pot, by applying a voltage across a reference electrode and electrodes corresponding to a liquid level through resistors, and lighting corresponding light emitting diode elements. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW on a top part and the like of the container 1 is turned ON, an LED D0, which corresponds to the reference electrode 2 whose tip is exposed so as to contact with the liquid in the vicinity of the bottom part of the container 1, is lighted. Meanwhile, the voltage is applied across the electrodes 3a-3d and the electrode 2 in correspondence with the liquid level in the container 1 through the resistors R31-R34, and the corresponding LEDs D1- D4 are lighted. Therefore, the remaining liquid level in the container such as the pot which cannot be observed from the outside can be positively displayed. |
