HEAD LAMP FOR USE IN AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To obtain a head lamp of excellent durability such that it will not readily deform because of its high rigidity against bending and twisting by forming the lamp body lower face area as one with V-shaped section in its longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:Lamp body lower face area 2a extends forward by a long distance from the lamp body upper face area 2b and the front face opening of a lamp body 2 is in such a form as being open diagonally upwards. A sealing channel 2c is provided around the periphery of the front face opening of the lamp body 2 and the sealing leg 42 of a total lens 40 is engaged in the channel 2c. The lamp body face area 2a is formed in a V-shaped section bent diagonally forwardly and downwardly at approximately the position of its center portion 2d in its depth, whereby the structure strength is increased as compared with the case of the lamp body lower face area being in a flat and straight form.
