PURPOSE:To obtain a multistage wire drawing machine which holds the temperature of each wire material nearly equal right before the wire material is inserted into each die and thus minimizes the damage of the wire material during wire drawing, by adjusting the gap between each heating unit of each wire material and each die unit. CONSTITUTION:In this multistage wire drawing machine, each wire material from a multistage guiding drum 1 is guided successively to a lubricant applying part 2, a heating part 3, a drawing part 4, and a multistage take-up drum 5. In this case, intervals between respective heating units b5-b1 and respective die units c5-c1 are decreased successively. Then, respective wire materials are taken out of the units b5-b1 and inserted into the units c5-c1 and at the same time, temperature drops of the respective wire materials are adjusted to nearly constant values. As a result, the production control over the wire materials is facilitated extremely and the damaging of the wire materials is eliminated. |
