PURPOSE:To provide the compsn. which exhibits an excellent adhesion, lubricity and releasing property when applied on the surface of jigs for calcining ceramics, etc., by incorporating the powder of a high melting compd. of nitride or carbide and boron nitride powder having specific grain sizes at specific ratios therein. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. for ceramics coating is formed by incorporating the two components of the soln. contg. A) ceramics powder consisting of 70 to 98wt.% high melting compd. powder selected from the nitride and carbide exclusive of BN (<=105mum max. grain size, >=2mum average grain size, >=2000 deg.C m.p. or decomposition temp., preferably AlN and SiC) and BN (<=15mum average grain size) and (B) org. binder (preferably a butyral system, acrylic system) at <=10wt.% in total of A and B into the compsn. at 5 to 100 pts.wt. A per 100 pts. B. This compsn. drastically decreases the amt. of the costly BN powder to be used and exhibits the effect thereof. |
