PURPOSE:To attain a smooth change in a waveform without forming a music tone having an attack part by cross-fading waveform data in adjacent high and low sound bands and switching both the data when an inputted sound pitch is changed to the outside of a prescribed sound band. CONSTITUTION:When a sound pitch specified and inputted by an input means 1 is included in the prescribed 1st sound band, a controller 6 to be an address signal forming means reads out the 1st waveform data from a waveform ROM to be a storage means. When the input sound pitch is changed to the high or low side other than the 1st sound band, the 2nd waveform data in the adjacent 2nd sound band are read out from a storage means waveform ROM 11 by a controller 7 to be an address signal forming means. Envelope generators 8, 9 to be amplitude control means executes cross fading so that the amplitude of the 1st waveform data is gradually decreased and the amplitude of the 2nd waveform data read out while being looped are also gradually increased. Even when the sound pitch is changed, waveforms can be naturally connected without generating a music tone whose attack part is emphasized. |
