PASSIVATION LAYER FOR SI/LI DETECTORS OF IONIZING RADIATION

摘要

The solution concerns a passivation layer of Si/Li ionising radiation detectors that consists of cured suspension of boron nitride powder or aluminium oxide in a solution of piceine and nonpolar solvent, for example toluene. The solution consists of 1 to 8 weight parts of piceine, 3 to 9 weight parts of boron nitride and of 1 to 10 weight parts of nonpolar solvent. The solution can be used for protection of detector transition surface in systems cooled cyclically to temperature of liquid nitrogen and with concurrent use of optoelectronic regenerative feedback of the preamplifier for protection preventing the access of light into the detector.
