The magnetic clamping pedestal for optic labs, for clamping on optic tables and benches, consists of a pedestal body (1), the ground plan cross section of which is triangle-shaped, divided by a non-magnetic barrier (2) into two sections, and equipped with a dovetailed recess (5) on its bottom base for clamping on the optic bench, and on the upper base it has at least one vertical sliding-in opening (15) for optic accessories. In the pedestal (1) body a round opening is created in parallel with the bottom base outside of the vertical sliding-in opening (15) in which a permanent magnet (3) is embedded, provided with knobs (4) at its ends. These knobs are fitted with an arm for demarcation of the permanent magnet (3) limit positions. The dovetailed recess (5) on the bottom base of the pedestal body (1) is provided with a cut-out (8) from the bottom up in order to create two contact areas (10,11). The body (1) notch in which a pin is embedded is fixed in a side knob (6), under which a spring (7) is installed to create the third contact area (12). The vertical sliding-in opening (15) may be through-hole and located in the middle among the contact areas (10,11,12). The magnetic clamping pedestal can be used as a basic structure element of the laboratory equipment, for optic in particular, but also for measuring holographic and laser labs.<IMAGE>
