<p>PURPOSE:To mold readily a heat insulating cover, etc., by constructing a mold from groove-shaped rings and inner and outer side plates, and supporting the strain due to the foaming pressure by clamping bands from outside and by a molding jig having struts from inside. CONSTITUTION:The upper groove-shaped ring 22 and lower groove-shaped ring 23 are positioned, and are surrounded by the outer side plate 24 and the inner side plate 25, the outer edges of the groove-shaped rings 22, 23 and the outer side plate 24 are secured by vises or the like, and the inner edges of the groove- shaped rings 22, 23 and the inner side plate 25 are also secured by vises or the like, the outer side surface is clamped by the clamping bands 27, and the inner side plate 24 is supported by the struts 33 by inserting the molding jig 31 inside. A foamable resin liquid is poured via resin pouring inlets 22A in the upper groove-shaped ring 22, and is allowed to foam, and after a prescribed curing period the mold is disassembled to take out the molded item, and the molded item is severed by a saw into two or more pieces to obtain heat insulating covers. Thus an item precise in dimension can be readily molded.</p> |
