PURPOSE:To prevent a speed difference from excessively increasing extremely by inhibiting an automatic transmission from its speed change, when a speed change rate, detected by a speed change rate detecting means, of a drive system in a differential gear input side is larger than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Drive power, output from an engine, is transmitted to a pair of right and left drive wheels through a differential gear from an automatic transmission. A speed change rate of a drive system, serving as the input side to this differential gear, is detected by a speed change rate detecting means, when this detected speed change rate is larger than a predetermined value, a speed change inhibiting means inhibits a speed change of the automatic transmission preventing a speed difference between both the drive wheels to be absorbed by the differential gear from excessively increasing extremely. Thus, durability can be improved of the differential gear. |
