SHADDOW MASK MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CHTHODE RAY TUBE

The method involves preparing an alloy sheet having a composition consisting of 30 to 50 wt.% of Ni, 1 to 5 wt.% of Ti and the balance Fe and incidental impurities. The alloy sheet is perforated by etching. The etched alloy sheet is subjected to a solution heat treatment to forming the alloy sheet after the solution heat treatment into a predetermined form. The formed alloy sheet is subjected to an age-hardening treatment by holding the alloy sheet within a non-oxidising atmosphere at a termperature ranging between 650 and 750 deg.C. The alloy sheet after the solution heat treatment is subjected to a surface blackening treatment, thus forming a black film on the surface of the alloy sheet.
