The system has an active magnetic damper (20) with electromagnetic inductors (30, 31) extending around a transmission shaft (21) and delineating, with the shaft, a radial clearance (33). A non magnetic radial damper (35) is extended around the shaft with a radial space (39) less than the clearance such that dampening of radial displacements of the shaft with respect to an axis (22) is ensured by the damper (35) and damage of the inductors is limited in case of failure of the active damper. The damper (20) has a stator with two parts integrated by a dismountable connection unit.
