<p>PURPOSE:To calculate the depth and horizontal displacement of a moving body by arranging two couples of coils consisting of 1st and 2nd coils perpendicularly at a specific distance and detecting a magnetic field produced by two-way lines. CONSTITUTION:A couple of coils S1 and S2 and similar coils S2' and S2' are arranged in an underground drilling machine 20 perpendicularly at the distance (d). Both coils in each coil couple wave orthogonal magnetic field detection directions and are supported properly at an angle phi to the perpendicular surface of a magnetic field production cable 10. Further, an inclinometer for a pitching direction is arranged in the drilling machine 20. The coils S1-S2' are detect magnetic fields produced by the two-way lines 10a and 10b at the same time and their induced electromagnetic forces V1 and V2, and V'1 and V'2 and the detected value of the inclinometer are inputted to an arithmetic processor arranged in the drilling machine 20. An arithmetic processor outputs the horizontal displacement X from the center PL of the coil S1, the depth D from the ground surface EP of the coil S1, and the inclination of the drilling machine 20 of a display device.</p> |
