SEMICONDUCTOR LASER THERAPEUTIC APPARATUS

The apparatus comprises a laser irradiator and a box (67) accommodating a mechanism that controls the irradiator. The irradiator has at its tip a cap (3) that has a pair of touch sensors (69) near an irradiation aperture (68). The laser irradiator further has a number of semiconductor laser devices (10) and a group of lenses that transform laser beams emitted from the semiconductor laser devices (10) into parallel beams, and that focuses them at a point to produce a laser beam (8) for therapy. The laser irradiator further comprises a device to adjust the beam (8) emitted from the semiconductor laser devices (10) into a degree of convergence that is reqd. for therapy. A device is included to eliminate uncomfortableness that may be caused by the touch sensors (69), to a patient.
