PURPOSE:To enable automatic control of a hot-water temperature in a bathtub even when the temperature is desired to be lowered, by a method wherein the quantity of supply water needed for lowering the hot-water temperature in the bathtub to a set hot-water temperature is computed on the basis of a supply water temperature, the hot-water temperature in the bathtub and the quantity of water in the bathtub and water is supplied on the basis of the result of computation. CONSTITUTION:The level of water in a bathtub is detected by a pressure sensor 6 and Q1 is calculated from water level-water quantity data. With a solenoid valve 5 opened, subsequently, a pump 3 is driven, a hot-water temperature T1 in the bathtub is detected, and when the detected hot-water temperature T1 is lower than a set temperature T3 set in a remote controller, an additional heating operation is started. When T1 is higher than the set temperature T3, the pump 3 is stopped with the solenoid valve 5 closed. Then, the pump 3 is driven with solenoid valves 8, 4 and 2 opened, and while water in a preset quantity is thereby supplied, a supply water temperature T2 is detected by a water temperature detecting sensor 11. Next, the pump 3 is stopped with the solenoid valves 8, 4 and 2 being closed, the quantity Q2 of drain water needed for lowering the temperature to a desired temperature at a set water level is computed from T1, T2, T3 and Q1, the quantity Q2' of drain water thus obtained is drained, and thereafter the water in the same quantity with Q2' is supplied. |
