<p>The circuit provides power during transmitting/receiving data but keeps standby otherwise to save power consumption. Whe initial power is supplied to the MODEM, a power switch (5) provides power only to a controller (3), a ring rectifier (9) of a data accessing circuit (4) to be standby. During data transmission, the MODEM function routine performs when the execution command is entered. But when it is a commnd mode after the execution command is not entered and preset time is passed, power supply keeps standby. During the receiving mode the operation is the same as the transmission mode.</p> |
