The objective of the invention is to provide an optoelectronic device intended for performing operations of processing of microwave signals, such as the product of two microwave signals, for example with the purpose of forming a spectral analysis of the signal, or alternatively an operation of correlation between two signals. This objective is achieved with the aid of a device comprising, on the one hand, a Mach-Zehnder interferometer supplied by an optical source 10, at least one of the branches 11, 12 of the said interferometer comprising means 15, 16 for modulating, by means of a microwave signal 21, 22, the optical signal passing through the branch and, on the other hand, an optoelectronic detector 18 mounted at the output of the interferometer, behind the junction 14 of the said branches 11, 12 of the interferometer.
