<p>PURPOSE:To make radiating power constant independently of an antenna gain when plural antennas whose gain differs from each other are in use by devising the control of the subject telephone set such that an operating antenna is automatically identified and prescribed radiating power is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A control section 3 gives a different power control signal to a radio section 4 in response to the type of the antenna so that the transmission output of the radio section 4 is a prescribed value according to the gain of each antenna depending whether the operating antenna is a telescopic antenna 1 or a built-in antenna 2. Thus, in the case of using the telescopic antenna 1, the different value of power control signal is given from the control section 3 to the radio section 4 from the case of using the built-in antenna 2 so as to cancel the difference of the gain thereby reducing the transmission output, resulting that the transmission power radiating from the antenna is kept constant.</p> |
