PURPOSE:To provide the subject nonflammable composition substantially not causing the change of the composition thereof when recycled and suitable as an alternate CFC or a cleansing solvent by comprising 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3- pentafluoropropane and cyclopentane. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprises 35-98wt.% of 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3- pentafluoropropane and 2-65wt.% of cyclopentane or 2-65wt.% of a 5-8C hydrocarbon mixture containing the cyclopentane as a main component. The composition has the same or more excellent characteristics as or than those of the conventional CFCs, does substantially not cause the change of the composition when recycled because of having an azeotropic point and highly good azeotropic- like characteristics, can be used in the same manner as one of the conventional CFCs and can be used as such without requiring any change of the conventional techniques. |
