PURPOSE:To discriminate content of a fault quickly and to attain smooth countermeasures corresponding to the content of the fault by dividing a time interval of collection processing into (n) for input information and discriminating the content of information at a time interval divided into (n) in this way. CONSTITUTION:A state change detection circuit 1 informs it immediately to a state change management circuit 2 upon the detection of a state change in the input information. A discrimination circuit 3 checks the state change information stored in the state change management circuit 2 at a prescribed time interval and informs the result to a collection processing circuit 4. The collection processing circuit 4 discriminates whether the information inputted finally is momentary, consecutive or intermittent based on the information for n-time as to items of the input information having a state change when the information for a predetermined number of times (n) is inputted succeedingly from the discrimination circuit 3. Thus, the dispersion in the time interval from the occurrence of state change till the end of the discrimination for the collection processing is decreased. |
