PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition useful for shock absorbers, clutches, torque converters, etc., by suspending, as disperse phase (or part thereof), a highly crystalline substance having shape anisotropy into an electrical insulating oily medium. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by suspending (A) as disperse phase (or part thereof), a highly crystalline substance having shape anisotropy (pref. an oxide ferroelectric made up of oxides of Ti, Zr. Nb and Ta, <=200mum in length and 5 500 in the ratio: length/fineness) into (B) an electrical insulating oily medium such as pref. of polyolefin-, diester-, polyphenylene-, polyether-, silicone-, perfluoropolyether-, phosphazene- or s-triazine-base). |
