The framework of an electrical apparatus cabinet consists of an assembly of hollow sections 10 having junction pieces in the corners. The tripod-shaped junction piece has, on each of its assembly faces, a leg 14 which interacts with a locking piece 26 so as to be inserted and wedged inside the section 10. The tightening of the screw causes the wedge consisting of the leg 14 and of the locking piece 26 to expand, and the section 10 to catch on the junction piece 12. <IMAGE>
