<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a deterioration of performance of recording or reproducing a signal by controlling an airflow forwarded from the side of a rotary cylinder to a fixed cylinder with an airflow control means installed on the fixed cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A head fitting base held to the rotary cylinder 11 is formed as a vane type as an agitator means 15 for agitating air, and the airflow control means 16 for controlling the agitated air is provided in a tape winding range inside an outer circumferential surface of the fixed cylinder 12, and then the rotary cylinder 11 is rotated to blow out the agitated air with the airflow control means 16. By this method as stated above, the airflow is controlled to stabilize the contact state between a tape 13 and a head 14 and also to remove abrasion dust. Consequently, the performance of recording or reproducing a signal can be prevented from deterioration.</p> |
