A disc device is provided with a guide shaft (231B) for movably holding a pickup device; a guide piece (214) for guiding the guide shaft (231B) in a focus direction; a shaft cam (320) which is turnably arranged with a turning shaft (321) having a shaft direction substantially parallel to the focus direction at the center, and is provided with a turn adjusting surface (322) which turns in a prescribed direction with the turning shaft (321) at the center when an adjusting screw (330) abuts thereto, and a shaft abutting section (323) which abuts to the circumference surface of the guide shaft (231B); and a plate spring (312) for urging the guide shaft (231B) to the side close to the shaft abutting section (323). The shaft abutting section (323) is arranged at a position where a distance (Db) between an abutting point to the guide shaft (231B) and the turning shaft (321) is smaller than a distance (Da) between an abutting point (A) to the adjusting screw (330) on the turn adjusting surface (322) and the turning shaft (321).
