FISH DESCALING DEVICE

An apparatus for use in descaling fish comprises a pair of parallel-extending assemblies (16, 18), each comprising a plurality of flails (30) and means for rotating the flail assemblies in opposite directions. The flail assemblies are able to move apart to accommodate fish of different thicknesses when introduced between the two assemblies for descaling.
