A sewing machine has top and bottom cloth advance mechanism feed teeth to sew top and bottom cloth, and is fitted with: (a) a means to pre-set the separate mechanisms for the feed teeth as regards the amt. and the direction of the top and bottom cloth; and (b) a controller to follow the pre-setting, and a method of altering the settings which have been made on both the advance mechanisms, separately or conjunctively. ADVANTAGE - Sewing machines has pre-set controls for seaming cloths made of different materials and co-efficient of friction. By introducing a means of altering the settings, using established electronic practice, the machine is further automated.
