PURPOSE:To remove ringing which is generated in a raster area by providing a cutoff means which is connected in series with a deflecting yoke and remove a parasitic high-frequency resonance current superposed of a current flowing through the deflecting yoke. CONSTITUTION:The ringing preventing circuit is equipped with the horizontal deflecting yoke 1 of the CRT display, a troidal choke coil 2 which is connected to the horizontal deflecting yoke 1, and a horizontal deflecting circuit 3 which drives the horizontal deflecting yoke 1 through a transistor TR, a diode D, and a capacitor DC, and the troidal choke coil 2 constitutes the parasitic high- frequency resonance loop cutoff means. Namely, the cutoff means is connected in series with the deflecting yoke 1 and removes the parasitic high-frequency resonance current superposed upon the current flowing through the deflecting coil 1. Consequently, the ringing generated with the parasitic high-frequency resonance current is removed. |
